Apple Pie

Simple Apple Pie Recipe

This recipe is perfect for when you’re craving a warm, classic dessert without all the fuss. Using a ready-made crust makes it super fast!

Ingredients:

  • Apples (enough to fill your pie dish)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Ready-made pie crust dough

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Prepare the filling: Slice your apples into thin, uniform pieces.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the butter, letting it melt.
  4. Add the sliced apples, brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon to the pan. Cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples have softened slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. Prepare the pie: Butter your pie dish and line it with the ready-made pie dough.
  6. Pour the warm apple filling evenly into the pie crust.
  7. If you have a second pie crust, you can cover the top and crimp the edges. If not, you can leave it as an open-faced pie.
  8. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  9. Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy it warm with a scoop of your favorite ice cream!
