Simple Apple Pie Recipe
This recipe is perfect for when you’re craving a warm, classic dessert without all the fuss. Using a ready-made crust makes it super fast!
Ingredients:
- Apples (enough to fill your pie dish)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp butter
- Ready-made pie crust dough
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Prepare the filling: Slice your apples into thin, uniform pieces.
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the butter, letting it melt.
- Add the sliced apples, brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon to the pan. Cook for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples have softened slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Prepare the pie: Butter your pie dish and line it with the ready-made pie dough.
- Pour the warm apple filling evenly into the pie crust.
- If you have a second pie crust, you can cover the top and crimp the edges. If not, you can leave it as an open-faced pie.
- Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy it warm with a scoop of your favorite ice cream!
